The College has an active Women Development Cell which helps to satisfy the needs of women and empowers them. The issues related to the overall well-being of women are monitored by the cell. As a part of empowering women, debates, talks, seminars, film shows and exhibitions are conducted by the Cell. It also celebrates Women’s Day.
Objectives of WDC:
- To create social awareness about the problems of women and in particular regarding gender discrimination.
- To develop the self confidence of women.
- To prevent sexual harassment and to promote general well-being of female students, teaching and non teaching women staff of the college.
- To organize seminars ,workshops relating to women development.
