College of Applied Science, Thiruvambadi, which started functioning in October 2008.The college is affiliated to Calicut University, Thenhipalem, Malapuram and got affiliation in 2008. The College being situated at Thottakkad in KarasseryGramaPanchayath which is 8 kms from Mukkam Bus Stand.. It is at a distance of just 30 km from K.S.R.T.C Bus StationKozhokde, 34 km from Kozhikode Railway Station and 60 km from the Karipur Airport.College contains major facilities like library common room separate room for girls, and many other student friendly things. The college offers scholarship to students depending on criteria. This institute is a unique initiative to deliver superior quality management education.

The College started with an intake of 24 students each in B.Sc Electronics, Computer Science and with an intake of 30 seats for  B.com with Computer Application, which was later increased to 30 seats  for  BscComputer Science and 40  seats for  B.com with Computer Application.

With in a short span of time, the college could gain a very prominent position in the technical education field of the state. In the academic field too throughout these years our students have come out in flying colours. Also a well efficient placement cell is functioning in this institution and our students are well placed in reputed firms like WIPRO, HCL, DELL, INFOSYS, IBM, iGATE etc.

The College today takes pride in all what it has achieved since its inception. Yet there are many things which the College aspires for but still remains a dream.
